The Fury lives

In 2013, I was able to test the Honda Fury and featured it in a big report in our first issue of "Biker" magazine, which was published for the first time at the time. I really liked the Easyrider feeling, which it rendered in Japanese and adapted to Swiss regulations as well as possible.  Under the report Honda VT 1300... you will learn more. Despite my enthusiasm for the rare part, it was probably sold too weak in Europe, which is why it fell off the shelves in many countries, including Switzerland, Germany or France. But it still exists. While browsing through American Bikers websites, I discovered it to my surprise.

Pearl yellow or black
Not much has changed, the look and the overall concept have remained the same. In the U.S., the beautiful part in the gorgeous "Pearl Yellow" or Pearl Yellow for $ 11'149.00 to have. Converted the bike costs 10'036 Euro or 10'598 CHF. I also found the Fury in Saudi Arabia. There it is available in black and costs 55'000 SAR (Saudi Riyal), which is about 12'852 € or 13'566 Swiss Francs. In view of the Swiss price of CHF 19,140.00 at the time, you can see how Swiss customers were asked to pay extra. The small country with purchasing power always pays significantly more for products. This means that the Fury is a real bargain even when imported from the USA, if you take the not inconsiderable expense upon yourself.

Either way, I'm glad to see that this rare piece of Japanese chopper history continues to be preserved in a few select countries and will bring much joy to its riders.
