Combat Motors: Real monsters

Brachial, monstrous, beefy, so the battleship made in USA. The unique frame concept and design attracts bikers, but the prices again deter: 85,000 -155,000 $. The series custom bike is unparalleled.

If you don't want to ride a Harley for once, you'll find an American alternative in the bikes from Combat Motors in Alabama. Above all, the look of the bikes is extremely different from all other two-wheelers. The fork, for example, is a real monster. According to the motto "the bigger the better" is built here and that is typically American. Such developments are also only possible in the USA. In Europe, there are too many small-minded bastards with a billion regulations standing in the way of such builders, making creative creatures on two wheels impossible. Of course, this problem also applies to carmakers. And every custom bike supplier will be able to tell you a thing or two about what is forbidden, which would actually be a great idea, but people would rather stick to old laws from the 50s than move with the times and promote new developments. Poor Europe and especially poor is Switzerland, which is completely backwoods in this respect - too much state and too little freedom.

Combat Motors writes the following regarding the 2022 program: Combat Motors announces its 2022 program, which includes the new Combat Bomber, Wraith, F117 Fighter and P51 Fighter.

We are building the last of these bikes with the S&S X-Wedge engine while we work hard to develop the new Hellcat, which will be available to a wider audience."- Ernest Lee, Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Combat Motors, known for uncompromising performance and American craftsmanship, announces its 2022 program with the new Combat Bomber, Wraith, F117 Fighter and P51 Fighter.

The Bomber, the latest addition to the lineup, continues what the original FA-13 Bomber started and completes the package. A new, relaxed seat angle combined with forward-facing controls makes this motorcycle a top-of-the-line cruiser. The Bomber starts at 125,000 $ for the raw aluminum version and is powered by an air-cooled S&S X132 big twin. A black ceramic-coated exhaust is standard, but the intimidation factor is unavoidable.

While stocks last, the Wraith the pinnacle of two-wheeled craftsmanship. A carbon fiber seat cowl encloses a flame-polished acrylic brake disc that includes Combat nomenclature. The term "detail" takes on a whole new meaning with this bike. Dual front and rear foot controls give you the luxury of choosing whether to ride aggressively or relax at the front controls. A 5-axis sculpted fuel tank and airbox at its heart are the embodiment of a no-compromise approach to this motorcycle. Power starts at $155,000 for the raw version and is provided by the proprietary X132 architecture. Additional power is made possible by the unique intake volume achieved through the innovative airbox design.

The F-117 Fighter has managed the balancing act between raw beauty and aggressiveness. It doesn't make sense, but when you ride this bike, the 117 cubic inch S&S V-twin offers a sound, power and balanced feel that shouldn't exist on such a raw machine. We've worked to bring the cost of this machine down as much as possible, so some options normally available on other models have been removed. At a price of 85,000 $, perfection may be closer than you think.

The proven P51 Fighter is still available. However, we have updated some details for 2022. The carbon fiber belly pans have been revised and the graphic elements on the structural fuel tank have been refreshed. An optional 117-cubic-inch displacement and a handlebar-mounted digital speedometer have been added to the options list. The raw version starts at a slim $100,000, and the legendary "Blag Flag" version costs just $5,000.

As all models are based on the S&S X132 architecture, availability depends on the availability of the engine, as this engine is no longer in production. The earlier interest is expressed, the more accurate delivery times can be communicated. Brand ambassador Jay Etheridge is available at most times to discuss options and answer questions.

To the future: Hellcat will return...
The latest Combat, currently in development, will bring the Hellcat name back to the forefront. With design elements that show the connection to the past; construction, performance and efficiency will be nothing less than innovative. True to the lineage established in the past, the next generation Hellcat will undoubtedly bring out the inner child in each of its riders. Combat Motors owner Ernest Lee says, "We're building the last of these bikes with the S&S X-Wedge powerplant while working hard to develop the new Hellcat, which will be accessible to a wider audience."
