Beauty in red

Harley-Davidson announces 8 new models, including the revised CVO models for 2022, as there are: CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide, CVO Road Glide Limited and CVO Tri Glide. The beautiful CVO Road Glide Limited stands out, which we therefore briefly present here.

CVO stands for "Custom Vehicle Operations", which Harley understands to mean "premium factory custom models produced in strictly limited numbers, which meet the demands of the choosiest custom enthusiasts with the highest degree of style and design". Harley proudly refers to the hand-finished paint jobs and speaks of exclusive quality. In addition, the standard equipment includes a premium audio system (powered by Rockford Fosgate®) with associated helmet headset (Boom! Audio 30K Bluetooth®) as well as the Harley-Davidson "Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements," a package of electronic assistance systems to support the rider in difficult road conditions and dangerous situations. The package includes cornering-optimized brake force distribution, cornering-optimized traction control, drag control, starting assist and tire pressure monitoring. So the rider is fully catered for in terms of sound and safety. In addition, the CVO Road Glide Limited comes up trumps with heated seats and handlebar grips as well as the aerodynamic Sharknose fairing. This turns a normal Harley into a luxuriously equipped touring machine à la Harley-Davidson.

The Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin engine, which is installed in all CVO models and which has more displacement (1923 cc) and develops more torque than any other engine available as standard in a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, is responsible for the power. For the CVO Road Glide Limited, that means 169 Nm of torque and 106 horsepower. The high-performance intake has a higher airflow to maximize performance and give the bike even more hot rod character, and the exhaust system is designed to maximize performance within the legally permitted volume and create an attractive exhaust sound.

The CVO Road Glide Limited finally shines with the other equipment features, as there are:

  • Road Glide fairing with splitstream ventilation to minimize turbulence on the head
  • Daymaker LED double headlight that illuminates the road optimally with its bright white light
  • Additional comfort in cold weather with heated seats with separate regulation for driver and front passenger
  • Muffler, end caps, running boards, shift lever detent, brake pedal pad and heatable handlebar grips from the Kahuna collection
  •  Tomahawk™ Custom wheels and
  • NEW paints
o Wicked Orange Pearl/Black Hole with Lightning Silver in combination with Bright Chrome Finish
o Hightail Yellow Pearl/Black Hole with Lightning Silver in conjunction with Bright Chrome Finish.
o Dante's Red with Dante's Black Sunglo Fade Flame Pattern in conjunction with Gloss Black Finish.

A lot of beauty for the 437-kilo lump, which also costs the enthusiast quite a bit. You can find out more about it on a test drive. Have fun with it!
