The motorcycle festival, which takes place from June 27th to 29th, takes place on the beautiful banks of the Danube in downtown Budapest, with lots of motorcycles and panoramic views of Budapest. Organized by the Open Road Riders Community and Harley-Davidson Budapest, the motorcycle, family and music festival will feature 13 venues and 4 music stages. The event is organized in collaboration with Harley-Davidson Budapest, BMW Motorrad, Honda, Piaggio Group and Suzuki.
One of the main performers at the Budapest Open Road Days Festival is Hungary's most popular rock band, Tankcsapda, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Godfater, a true Hungarian blues-rock supergroup featuring Hungarian guitar legend Tibor Tátrai, will also perform on the festival's main stage.
In addition to music, the festival also offers a spectacular and exciting motorcycle program. Hungary's largest motorcycle festival is framed by two joint motorcycle rides: On June 27th, day 0, the event starts with a joint motorcycle tour across Lake Balaton on the Budapest-Balatonakali-Budapest route, followed by a large motorcycle ride parade in Budapest on June 29th.
The Motor Stage tent will be one of the main venues of the festival. The “All Engine Tent” is a real automotive show where you can meet all the major motorcycle brands in one place. Representatives from BMW Motorrad, Harley-Davidson, Honda, the Piaggio Group and Suzuki will be on site with both motorcycles and themes.
There will also be spectacular motorcycle and BMX stunt shows as well as a historic Harley-Davidson motorcycle exhibition. Visitors can also sign up for free test rides with the Harley on Tour truck. The Custom Bike Show will showcase the unique wonders of motorcycle workshops and there will also be a motorcycle beauty contest.
The Plázs on the banks of the Danube will be the place to chill at the Open Road Days 2024. Riders can relax in comfortable loungers and hammocks and admire the Danube, bustling Budapest and beautiful motorbikes. The Plázs DJ will provide the background music. Anyone who enjoys the sun can feel like the protagonist of a big city video. And after sunset you can enjoy the music, the Budapest panorama and the company with a cocktail or another drink in the light of the lanterns.
