Now Kawasaki is following suit. No sooner did the news from Honda reach us yesterday than the good news from Kawasaki flutters into our homes today: partly massive savings for customers in Switzerland thanks to the fall in the euro exchange rate. The concept is the same, the marketing people are creative with the term: Kawasaki talks about "burnout" bonus, meaning the savings between 7 - 15 % of the gross price of all available models of the Kawasaki range valid from 9.02.2015.
Actually, one would have to assume that the "increased" purchasing power of motorcyclists in Switzerland should even boost sales in 2015. If the weather plays along, things are looking good. In general, the 2014 statistics of motosuisse show a strong picture, individual major brands have increased last year in the double-digit percentage range, so this euro problem should be bearable for one or the other anyway.
